About

What do we do?

Cleanergis Biosciences is a biotechnology company specializing in waste management services, Microalgae and Herbal Wellness products. We work in the field of sustainable technologies and products for a better tomorrow.

Our Herbal Wellness division manufactures nutraceuticals for health and immunity. We mainly focus on Spirulina based products. Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that can be considered as a superfood due to its excellent nutritional content and health benefits.

In the waste management division, we have developed a patented technology to treat industrial wastewater using Bioremediation techniques. Molasses Spent Wash (MSW) is highly polluting wastewater from the molasses-based distillery industry, which is highly coloured with very high BOD, COD and foul odour. We have developed a technology that involves the use of microorganisms, plants and other physical principles to clean MSW.

We have also developed a technology for biodegradable solid waste treatment using vermicomposting and aerobic fungi. The treatment produces no chemical/harmful by-products and the final treated product is a rich compost that can be used as manure for the growth of plants. The treatment plant can be housed in any residential area without causing any nuisance of smell or leachate.

In the area of Microalgae, we have isolated and maintained micro-algal strains of commercial importance which can be used for human food, animal feed, wastewater treatment and biofuel application.
